Anyone heard Witter's status tonight? Some comments upthread seem to indicate he is out, and if it was an ankle sprain he might miss some weeks. Bad. Although in his absence, the young D-men stepped it up in Calgary. Freddy Meyer had his best game in orange and blue Friday. |

Need to get Kohn or Fata up from Bridgeport IMO...especially against a team like Ottawa, six D dressing tonight are going to have a tough time keeping up. Berard and Sutton especially as they don't skate well. Campoli-Gervais Bergeron-Berard Meyer-Sutton /eek |

Yeah that defensive lineup is going to be tough, I would bet Campoli-Gervais get split up.I hope Witt is only out 2-3 weeks (or less), should be a better game for the Isles with Heatley out. Maybe the Sens will have a letdown after beating the best team in the league |

Almost guaranteed. Hard to imagine that wasn't a cup preview last night. Tonight a possible first round preview. We're going to need an Ottawa letdown given the talent disparity, even with Heatley out. I'll be one of the 8 or 9 Isles fans at the game, and am crossing my fingers that it won't be another blowout.....there's been a few of those in Ottawa the past few years. In order to avoid this, the Isles forwards are going to have to help out defensively given our patchwork blueline and the Senators' offensive talent. |

Your so lucky your going to the game....if Gerber starts...which he probably will, I think it will be a closer game than if Emery starts, only because im 90% sure that Emery hasn't started in a while. With Heatley out, we can definitely win this, only if we play well throughout the WHOLE game, not just one or two periods. |
