Jackie knew to just write material. Artie gets diarrhea of the mouth. At least admit that Jackie was funnier than Artie. That guy Craig Gas (sp?) should have been the sidekick. His Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Adam Sandler, and Tracy Morgan as well as other impersonations are dead on and hilarious. I like Artie in the bit movie roles he's had-Old School, Lost and Found, but him and Robin both take too much away from the most recent incarnation of the show. [right][snapback]123122[/snapback][/right] First of all, the biggest mistake was letting BILLY WEST leave. That was when the show was at its very best. Artie does get mud mouth, but he is funny. Personally I would take Jackie back for sure only because it was just so much fun goofing on Jackie. so much classic stuff there. That being said I know a lot of people that say screw Jackie and that they like Artie better because it was like a breath of fresh air. I don't share that view, but I tend to be loyal I've always liked Robin because she is the voice of reason. sometimes you wanna give her a smack, but most of the time I like her. |

Buts, It is my opinion that the downfall of society is the attitude you expressed above. "You worry about your own daughter not someone elses." That is EXACTLY the attitude that has objectified women at a younger and younger age. As long as she's some strangers daughter and not yours or one of your friends she's fair game. Why is Howard just "putting women on who wanna show thier stuff" and then you claim that the the person running the theatre was "manipulative". That's GAAAAAAHBAGE Buts and you know it. We should all STRIVE to not sexually objectify our neighbor's daughters. Whether our neighbor is our brother or lives half way around the world. We may still do it because we are beings of flesh but the key to a healthy soul is the STRIVE. Your daughter, my daughter and Howard's daughter would all live in a safer more civil and nurturing world if Howard and his ilk weren't manipulating stupid women into letting people do disgusting things to thier bodies in front of an audience. You and I might know the difference between right and wrong but the problem with what's happened to our society is that the sicko on the corner doesn't know how to distinguish between my daughter or my buddies daughter and some chick who once to have her head dunked in a toilet. I'll give a prime example and then I'm out. You're a Howard fan. You tell me. Is it not manipulative and disgusting to be constantly playing a sound clip of a mentally challenged girl saying "Somebody Rape me already!" "? If Howard believes that is entertainment and that by letting the sicko that lives down the block from "Wendy the Retard" hear that 10 times every morning is responsible than with all due respect his daughter should go DO the O and A show completely naked and then let them post the pictures on their site. I might look at a young woman and find her irresistably attractive. I'll probably even have some innapropriate thoughts from time to time... OK often. But to let yourself forget that that is someone else's daughter and to not see the tragic side of some drunk girl getting bologna thrown at her ass to me can irreperably scar your soul. I know alot of people on here like to take shots at the so called "overly religious" but I see a terrible widening of the gaps that alarms me in this society. You've got so called religious fanatics on one end of the equation and on the other end you've got a horde of people that think anything is worth a laugh and that religious people exist only to "kill thier buzz" on Sunday morning when thier trying to download barnyard sex porn. I find it disturbing. As do I find the way someone I consider to be a good hearted guy having been summarily desensitized by the howards of the world. The problem with all of this crap is that it drags your whole sensitivity to things through the mud. The more porn you watch the more specific types of porn you HAVE to watch to gain the same stimulation. Remember watching your first porno when you were 14 or seeing your first PlayBoy. You're heart raced, your palms got sweaty. It was like a cosmic experience. Now you gotta hit the fast forward button for 45 minutes just to get to a tingle inducing scene. It's no wonder the divorce rate is so high and every other male in this country needs drugs to get an erection. We're desensitized to media of all types while largely ignoring and even finding offensive many of the messages in the good book. OLD and NEW testament. Maybe if we all gave up barnyard porn and throwing lunchmeats at strippers asses we could date a girl with 20 extra pounds on her and not have to take drugs to perform.... and you know what maybe our DAUGHTERS would be able to find a worthwhile guy who gets turned on by the sight of thier smile like it USED to be before what's his name with his laser pointer telling us what NOT to like about a woman's body. If you think I'm crazy do me a favor. Put every piece of porn you own in the trash and live masturbation free for one month. If your wife does not report that you are all around a BETTER PERSON not to mention more attentive easier to talk to easier to get your attention everything then I will take back what I said. Remove those poisons from your life and all those first date sparks will come rushing back into your relationship. Some of the best marriages I know are friends I have who are devout Christians. Why, because they are completely and totally focused on each other. They don't waste passion and attention on artificial outlets. It's as though they are married but they are teenagers for life. Just super sensitive to each other both physically and spiritually. All this crap is just numbing us all out to the truly beautiful things that were put on this Earth for us. And Howard has more than done his part. |

Dude, I was up in Ottawa at a strip club lusting my tuckus off 5 days ago. I don't wanna preach to anyone. Just commenting on the desensitization of this world we live in. I speak from experience. My point is that when we give up guilt because it cramps our style what then separates us from psychopaths and serial killers? It's just become very popular in the George Bush era to bash the so called "Religious Right" and in many cases for good reason i.e (voting for War to avoid Gay Marriage) but my concern is that the perceived "uncoolness" of these right wingers is causing a ripple effect in the other direction that scares the hell out of me. Someone here recently commented on how they were getting satellite radio because they often drive through the Bible Belt and "Were getting tired of hearing how they were going to Hell." Say what you want about these people but they are telling you this because they honestly believe that you might be scarring your soul with your actions. They don't WANT you to go to hell. You might think that is silly. All I can say for all of our sakes is that we better hope that all these lunatics are wrong and if they're right we better hope there is good satellite reception in Hell. If you want a positive message without the Hell warnings and the fire and brimstone of Bible Belt radio check out www.JoelOsteen.com You'll never hear a negative word out of his mouth and he might just crack through your facade and make you want to live a purer less negativity filled life. It might even free you from feeling like you have to scream "Get off the F'in Ice!" at a group of Chinese SchoolChildren.
