It's the group of buildings directly across the street from the VIP parking area. There were a lot of parking spaces and it seemed like a lot of fans were parking there. As I said it was easy in and easy out for me.

What I had said previously (and I'm guessing at) is that the majority of season ticket holders did NOT buy the playoff parking booklet.

Bumped into a bunch of folks who complained about the "breakaway parking."

Evidently, the attendants were forcing cars away from the main entrance, and treatening to TOW THE CARS of anyone who didn't park where told.

Is that any way to treat people who spend big bucks on season tickets and then also pay up for the preferred parking?

It's retarded. They made us park by the box office, not the breakaway entrance, and they didn't even let us park in a handicapped space(my girlfriend's mother is handicapped, and we took the car she uses, so the mirror tag hanger thing was up, and they wouldn't let us move).

see...to me that is inexcusable that they would even inconvenience someone that is hadicapped. When I hear something like that...it makes my Italian blood boil...which doesn't take much to begin with.

Some of these people are like robots that can't make decisions on their own...

I got this email notice from the Islanders this evening.

Due to increased use of the Breakaway Parking Lot, we have revised our policies within the confine of the lot.
As you enter the 365 Parking Lot, you will be directed to a space by an attendant and NYI customer service representatives.
The lot will be filled from the Western End (Earl Ovington Blvd) to the East End (Marriott Side). All exits will be available.
We encourage you to use the Earl Ovington Blvd. entrance which is by far the least congested.
Those who choose to wait on line on Hempstead Turnpike will still be able to enter the lot by proceeding past the toll booths to the entrance and make a u-turn into the lot. In addition, beginning in the fall, Breakaway Parking will only be accessible through the Earl Ovington toll booths.
