Has anyone confirmed whether Marleau even has a NTC?

I am almost positive he does. I remember the thousands of Marleau trade rumors and remember reading that he has one. I guarantee this is Marleau. Like I said, he has been unhappy out in San Jose.

It's prob not Iginla the more I think about it considering the Flames just signed him to an extension I think?

It's probably Marleau or Doan... It's not a defenseman...

No one of high caliber is going to want to come here now, regardless of if the Isles tried to play hardball to much with the one's that left, this team literally sucks now.

But this is what it means to be an Isles fan, it was never easy, even during the cup years, the papers always tried to lambast this team in any way shape or form.

I'm going to give in to the dark side and imagine that Wang demands Garth goes totally unconventional and insists he grabs everyone that is overpaid or demanding out elsewhere. We end the process with Jovo, McCabe, Marleau and say Rick Nash. We no longer have Okposo, next years 1st, 2nd or 3rd round pick, our 1st round pick in 2009, and off the current roster, say Trent Hunter and Sean Bergenheim. We then sign Zubrus and Guerin/ Comrie. The next move is to give Marleau a 4 year extension at, say, $26 million.

We free up a couple of younger d-men to be dealt and probably have cap room to take on a salary at the trade deadline or a quality UFA next year.

Would anyone be that upset?

BOOOOOOOOOO! This is ~Danny~ from the grave. I come to haunt you PSV with a kiss on the cheek.

(This message is intended solely for the entertainment value of PSV. It may not be duplicated which would be considered illegal as it is wholly owned and distributed by ~Danny~)

Since the beginning of time there have been millions that have tried to understand the magnificence of Oleg. There is no way in words to describe the impact he has had on civilized societies across the seven continents. He always brings his “A” game! He is as close to an untouchable as anyone on any NHL roster.

His power cannot be measured by ordinary means. He is the originator of the “Oleg”, the world’s most efficient energy unit that will be harnessed by scientists and used to solve all the world’s problems.

He descends upon us, and brings us victory. All hail Oleg, “He of the Flowing Locks” will lead us!
